![]() ![]() Copper, a material found in earth, in human tissue and known to conduct energy, is employed as a metaphysical representation of human/earth interconnection. ![]() Materials used include harvested rainwater, clay, charcoal, copper gilding and handmade corroded copper ink. Processes used include drawing, painting, collage, indexing and photography. Nolan has exhibited nationally and internationally including a solo exhibition of new work in 2023, supported by Sample-Studios, Cork and an upcoming solo exhibition of new work 2024, supported by The Arts Council of Ireland.įinding inspiration in nature and yogic practice, Nolan works primarily on two dimensions.
